EASE Training Singapore 2018: The Singapore EASE training event was held this week at the d&b audiotechnik Asia Pacific training facility with attendees coming from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan. The three-day program was spent exploring AFMG's EASE software, from basic model construction to the more advanced features of the software including the Ray Tracing, AURA and Auralization modules. An evening session on Day 2 provided discussion, demonstrations and measurement of interference effects in loudspeakers, intelligibility, reverberation times + background noise and the effect of delay on speech. As a special treat on Day 3, Gert Sanner from d&b Audiotechnik Asia Pacific, provided a demonstration of the d&b Soundscape system. This is an exciting new technology to experience playback audio + live performances and is scalable from smaller performance spaces to larger outdoor productions + events. The support provided by d&b audiotechnik Asia Pacific for this event has been fantastic and it's great to provide the training in a well-equipment venue. A special thank you to all involved.

The Acoustic Technologies - AT Professional SCX25A active loudspeaker was also custom-manufactured to save weight. The premium quality coaxial 12" loudspeaker driver is powered by Powersoft Class D Amplifier module with DSP.

EASE Training Canberra 2018: It has been a busy week in Canberra working through AFMG's EASE software with attendees from across Australia and Malaysia. The three-day program was spent exploring the EASE software, including the Ray Tracing, AURA and Auralization modules. An evening session provided demonstrations and measurement of interference effects in loudspeakers, intelligibility, reverberation times, effect of delay on speech and other audio system specific values. The optional day 4 site visit provided attendees with an example project where EASE software was used to design & document an audio system within a difficult acoustic environment. We look forward to hearing again from our class participants - and also look forward to seeing how EASE software has been used for future projects.

Well, what a fantastic weekend! The Willinga Park team is so proud of what was achieved during the Gold Buckle Campdraft. We’ve had so many kind messages from competitors, volunteers, and spectators and we are thrilled that you all enjoyed the event. Thanks to each and every person who helped to pull off such an exceptional event.
