EASE Training Singapore 2017: It has been great spending time in Singapore this week working through AFMG's EASE software with attendees. The event was hosted and run at the very well quipped training room of d&b audiotechnik Asia Pacific, with attendees coming from Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan. Training was provided over a three day program and worked through the EASE software platform and associated modules including Ray Tracing, AURA and Auralization. It is hoped that the training will provide confidence for all attendees as they consider the use of EASE software in their future projects.

EASE Training Canberra 2017: Following the 'formal' EASE training, our attendees had an opportunity to visit a Canberra church to see and hear the value of detailed measurement, modelling and audio system design. The church acoustic environment was measured using EASERA and modelled with EASE AURA. The installed audio solution was commissioned with EASERA and SysTune. During the site visit, a speech intelligibility (STI) assessment of the installed Acoustic Technologies - AT Professional audio system solution was carried out using NTi Audio test and measurement equipment. Attendees had opportunity to listen to excitation of the reverberant field within the church and also to evaluate various audio files as playback through the installed audio system.
